A Publix Family Reunion

Well, some people have their family reunions at picnics with matching shirts. Our family? We have them in Publix. As Michael and I are getting ready to leave for Boston, we decided to go see our grandmother one last time before we left. She works at Publix, so we went there, and almost everyone else from my mom's side of the family met us there as well. It was great to see everyone, but it was hilarious too. As one of my cousins said, "Next time we have a family reunion, can we meet at PetsMart?" Enjoy the pics below. The one of all of us is blurry, but it still gives the gist. Now, back to packing, as we are driving away in 2 days!

St. Simon's Part 2

Here are a few more of some of my favorite pictures from St. Simon's. We had a great time, although we weren't quite ready to leave! Now we begin a week of sorting, packing, and all of that fun stuff before heading up to Boston. Never a dull moment!

Introducing Ellie

I have the best cat ever! Since she is about to drive up the east coast with me in our trek to Boston, I thought I'd introduce her to all of you. She's not thrilled about riding in the car that long, but I have promised that I will post pictures of her throughout our long journey and as a result, she will become the most famous blog cat ever. So, please allow me to introduce Ellie to you. Her story will be told in the days to come....

St. Simon's

Hi everyone! I am in St. Simon's with my mom and Nikki for a few days of "R & R" before we pack and head up to Boston. We're having fun, but as it sometimes happens when you go on vacation, it has been raining off and on most of the time we've been here. We're hoping for some sunshine tomorrow.... Anyway, below are a few fun pictures from today. The very last one is the remains of a yummy chocolate thing we had for dessert.

Braves Vs. BoSox

We went to the Braves game last night vs. the Red Sox. It was so much fun! There were a lot of Boston fans there and because Braves fans were trying to drown them out, it was a really loud and energetic crowd. It was a neat atmosphere to be in. I took my new camera to try to get some good pictures. Check out how in the pictures below, you can actually see the ball in the picture! I was quite proud of myself. :-) Go Braves!!

Fun Times

Hi everyone! Hope you are all doing well so far this week. I just got a new digital camera, and I have been having fun trying to figure out how to use it and take various sorts of pictures. My mom and I went to Furman today to visit with some people up there and just enjoy hanging out at the campus. Below are some of my favorite pictures from the day. Nikki and I also got to go to the Braves game on Sunday. It was awesome! Until the next adventure.....

Another Wedding

Nikki's roommate got married today, and I did her wedding cake. I had fun being creative and hope they liked it! Nikki got to be a bridesmaid and sang a beautiful duet in the ceremony. I have such a talented friend! Enjoy a few pictures from the day below...

Last Day

Friday was my last day at West Ridge. It's been an amazing four years, and I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to work with such fabulous people. Every Friday afternoon, we stuff the ministry guides. This is a behind-the-scenes job, but Linda and Rachel have been faithful volunteers for so long. We had an ice cream Sunday party on Friday afternoon to celebrate all of their hard work. I promised I would put their pictures on my blog so they could be famous. :-) Thanks ladies for all of your faithfulness and your servant hearts. I'll miss you!

Girls Night

On Thursday, lots of the ladies on staff went out for a girls night - my last one before we leave for Boston. They came up with the fabulous idea of us going to the Varsity and then going to Mountasia to play putt-putt. It was so much fun! I will miss all of the people on staff so much, but I hope you're all reading the blog :-) and I know we'll stay in touch! Thanks to all of you for taking the time out of your lives to share this evening with me. I love you guys! Below are my favorite pictures from the night. Don't we look like professionals???
